Girls soccer open gym tonight, 6:30  at Lakeview.

Prom fees are now $30.00 but go up Monday, March 22nd to $35.00.

Anyone interested in running for next year's student council needs to pick up a petition from Mrs. Lechtenberg or Mrs. DePrizio, have it signed by students in your grade and turn it back in by Friday.

are due by Wednesday, March 31st.

Yearbooks must be paid for by March 31st.  To pay

Books will not be ordered if they have not been paid for.  Check 
the list outside Mrs. Mitchell's room to see if you paid for your

IHCC Performing Arts Scholarship Audition Days - March 19th & 20th, 2010.  Application is at www.indianhills.edu/PVA scholarships.

Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship - Scholarship sponsored by the family of Janice M. Scott who died in the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon.  Application deadline 3/31/10.

Farmers Bank Scholarship - $500 scholarship for seniors based on academic achievement, community activities and leadership and school activities and leadership.  Students with parents, brothers, sisters or grandparents who work for Farmers Bank are not eligible.  Application deadline 3/31/10.

ACACIA Leadership Scholarship - Iowa State University - Maximum of up to $1,000 for 
senior boys who plan on attending Iowa State University.  Applications must be postmarked 
by 4/1/10. 

Southern Iowa Electric Cooperative Scholarship - $2,000 scholarship for senior whose 
parents are members of the Southern Iowa Electric Cooperative out of Albia.  
Application deadline 4/1/10

Appanoose County Foundation Scholarship - Three $750.00 scholarships for seniors 
with a minimum 3.0 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 20.  
Application deadline 4/5/10.

Leo H. Grether Memorial Scholarship - $1,000 scholarship for senior enrolling in college as a vocal music major.  Application deadline 4/15/10

Bright Foundation Scholarship - $2,500 scholarship for seniors who will be attending the following colleges:  Briar Cliff University - Central College - Clarke College - Coe College - Cornell College - Dordt College - Graceland University - Grand View University - Grinnell College - Iowa Wesleyan - Loras College - Luther College - Morningside College - Mount Mercy College - Northwestern College - St. Ambrose University - Simpson College - University of Dubuque - Upper Iowa University - Wartburg College - William Penn University.
Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and show financial need.  Application deadline 4/16/10.

Appanoose County Young Republican Scholarship - $400 scholarship for senior who resides in Appanoose County.  Must be a registered Republican and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.  Application deadline 4/19/10.

Appanoose County Soil & Water Conservation District Scholarship - 
1 year (renewable) conservation and agriculture-related academic 
or vocational scholarship.  2.0 GPA must be maintained in college 
to remain eligible for this scholarship.  Application 
deadline 4/23/10.

Chapters KA and D  PEO Scholarship - $500 scholarship for senior female with a minimum 
GPA of 3.0 and a minimum ACT score of 20.  Application deadline 4/30/10.

Mercy Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship - $1,000 
scholarship to senior planning on entering any licensed field of 
medicine.  Applications may be picked up at Mercy Medical Center 
from Jody McCoy (437-3411) or Mitzi Valentine (649-2459).

Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship - JUNIORS ONLY - $1,000 scholarship each for male 
and female student who have participated in Iowa Sports Foundation events (Summer and 
Winter Iowa Games, Net Fest, Hoopin' at the Dome).  Applications due 5/1/10.

Appanoose County Young Democrat Scholarship - 2 $400 scholarships 
for senior who is a registered Democrat and contributes to community 
and school.  Application deadline 5/1/10.
